Hi, I’m Jamie.
Every relationship experiences seasons of stress. Seeking support isn't a sign that something is broken. It's a decision to invest in something that matters.
I'm Jamie Nelson, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate and the founder of Hope Marriage & Family Therapy. If you are here because your relationship feels strained, disconnected, or simply ready for deeper investment, I'm really glad you found your way here.
I have been married for 18 years and am raising four children with my husband. Like most couples, our relationship has experienced seasons of stress, growth, and challenges that required real work. I know firsthand that strong relationships are not built by avoiding difficulty, but by learning how to stay connected through it.
That lived experience, paired with clinical training, shapes the way I care for my clients.
My practice is primarily focused on couples therapy for every stage of a relationship, including serious dating, premarital counseling, marriage, high-conflict dynamics, betrayal, and affair recovery. I also work with couples who want a relational check-in or support strengthening an already solid foundation.
In addition to couples work, I provide individual therapy for women ages 16 and older who are navigating anxiety, relationship stress, attachment patterns, and life transitions. I also enjoy working with families as they strengthen communication and connection.
My work is grounded in evidence-based practices and, when requested, thoughtfully integrates the Christian faith. I believe both research and faith can be meaningful resources for healing and growth. I have a deep respect for the connection between our minds, relationships, bodies, and faith, and I am passionate about helping people understand what is happening beneath the surface so meaningful change can take place.
Whether you are preparing for marriage, rebuilding trust, healing after betrayal, navigating anxiety, or simply wanting stronger relationships, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
Our relationships with ourselves and others shape every part of our lives.
And your relationship deserves the very best.
