Couples Therapy
Premarital Couples
Premarital counseling is much more than couples therapy before a wedding. It is an intentional season of preparation that helps couples build a foundation strong enough to support the realities of marriage.
As an experienced couples therapist, I help premarital couples look beyond surface-level compatibility and develop skills for communication, conflict, emotional connection, and shared values. This work is proactive, practical, and designed to support long-term relational health.
I am SYMBIS certified, which allows us to use a research-based assessment to identify strengths, growth areas, and patterns early on, before they become sources of frustration later. Premarital counseling is ideal for engaged couples who want to enter marriage with clarity and confidence.
Committed and Married Couples
Long-term relationships require care, curiosity, and ongoing attention. Whether you are dating seriously, newly married, or years into partnership, it is normal for couples to experience seasons of distance, tension, or transition. Couples often come to therapy not because their relationship is broken, but because they want to feel closer, communicate more clearly, and move forward with intention.
In my work with couples, I bring both warmth and structure, creating a space where each partner feels heard, respected, and supported. Sessions are collaborative and paced thoughtfully, allowing couples to slow down, understand patterns, and learn practical ways to stay connected, even during difficult conversations.
I am Level 2 trained in the Gottman Method, a research-based approach grounded in decades of study on what helps relationships thrive. As the Gottmans remind us,
“Successful relationships are not about how compatible you are, but how you manage conflict.”
This work focuses on strengthening friendship, improving communication, managing conflict in healthier ways, and building shared meaning over time. Sessions are practical, structured, and tailored to the specific needs and goals of your relationship.
Affair and Betrayal Recovery
Experiencing an affair or betrayal can feel deeply destabilizing, often shaking trust, safety, and connection within a relationship. In these moments, having thoughtful and structured support matters.
Affair recovery is a specialized form of couples therapy. I work with couples to slow the process down, understand the impact of betrayal, and rebuild emotional safety through honest, guided conversations. This work is paced intentionally and grounded in evidence-based couples therapy.
Affair recovery is not about rushing forgiveness or forcing decisions. It is about slowing down enough to understand what has happened, rebuild emotional safety, and determine together what healing looks like.
Individual Therapy for Women
Many women come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, relationship stress, or life transitions. Individual therapy offers a supportive space to slow down, feel understood, and develop practical tools for growth.
I work with women ages 16 and older using an evidence-based approach grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and attachment theory, helping clients understand emotional patterns, regulate their nervous system, and feel more grounded, confident, and connected in daily life and relationships.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, people-pleasing, perfectionism, life transitions, or simply feeling overwhelmed, therapy provides a place to slow down, gain clarity, and move toward lasting change. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build confidence, and create healthier patterns in your relationships and daily life.
